At Alter Ego Comics, we want to be sure you're happy with your products. If an item is damaged during shipping or has a manufacturer defect, please email firstname.lastname@example.org within 30 days of receiving the item. In your email, please provide pictures of the damage and a description. We'll work with the manufacturer/distributor to get a replacement, but please be patient. It can sometimes be a slow process. If we can't get a replacement, you'll receive a partial or full refund, depending on how bad your item's damaged. We strongly suggest you open everything when it's delivered to inspect it.
Please remember that damage to an item's packaging does not make the item damaged.
The product must be sent back in its original box/packaging the same way it was sent to you. This means that the item must be returned intact with figures, accessories, bases, original packaging, outer shipment box as well as in a double boxed shipping carton, if this is how it was sent to you. If a returned items arrives with excessive damage due to improper packing, a damaged product fee may be required.
You must contact us at email@example.com before shipping an item back or the entire shipping department might explode. And we would be heartbroken. Any item returned to us as "refused" or "return to sender" will be subject to a 30% fee to cover our costs and therapy bills.
Unopened merchandise may be returned for a refund, minus shipping, within 30 days of purchase. You must pay to ship it back to the address we'll provide in our return email.
Once again, you must email firstname.lastname@example.org prior to returning any item.
*If we can't refund directly to your credit card, we will always offer 2 options: Either the money can be refunded to your Paypal account (we strongly recommend this) or a check can be mailed to you (5-10 business days).
Only order items you can afford. We don't endorse hoping you'll be able to afford something and then canceling when it arrives. Plus, it takes the chance away from someone else who really REALLY wants that item. But, if you must cancel, you can do so within 14 days of placing your order without fees. After 14 days, canceled pre-orders will be charged a 10% fee. All cancellation requests must be sent to email@example.com
Cancellation fees can't be applied to new or open orders.
If your order had a non-refundable deposit, that will take the place of the cancellation fee.
If you redeem Reward Points on an order and then cancel, you will lose those Reward Points.
